Alpha Rho would like to welcome you to Canada for the 3rd Annual Gamma Iota Sigma Inter-Chapter Winter Classic where you will experience all Canada has to offer! The Classic will run February 10 - 11, 2012 in London, Ontario, Canada.

Experiences will include:

  •  
    • The Annual Gamma Iota Sigma Winter Games
    • An OHL Hockey Game with the London Knights
    • Tour of the Labatt’s Brewery – Home of Labatt’s Blue
    • Education Sessions
    • Chapter Management Workshop

A $25.00 CDN Registration Fee per person, includes all general expenses while attending the conference. The registration does not cover the transportation costs and hotel costs associated with each chapter.

REMEMBER: All American and Canadian citizens will need a valid passport to cross the border.

If you are choosing to fly to London your closest airports are:

If you are flying into Toronto or Detroit we would recommend contacting Robert Q Travel for a shuttle or if your group is large enough renting a van with Enterprise Rent-A-Car.

Accommodations

We have arranged group accommodations at the Hilton Hotel, 300 King Street, London, ON. 

Cost per night is $129.00 CDN, plus 13% tax, for 4 person occupancy per room. Parking is $12.00 per day. This room rate is only available until January 20, 2012. Due to the large number of events occurring in London during that weekend the hotel has indicated they will not extend the deadline. All hotel rooms will be booked through the Alpha Rho Chapter – no need to contact the hotel directly. Rooms are confirmed by us but paid by you when you arrive.

Registration

Checks/Cheques can be payable to Gamma Iota Sigma – Alpha Rho Chapter.  If you are sending a cheque or money order be sure to have it payable in Canadian funds. 

Dress for this event will be casual, but don’t forget your outdoor winter gear! The conditions north of the border can be treacherous and unforgiving!   We will be walking to most events in the downtown core.
