We are pleased to announce that the Alpha Kappa Chapter at the Katie School of Insurance at Illinois State University will be hosting this year’s 9th Annual NAPSLO Symposium March 30-31, 2012 at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Chicago. The NAPSLO Symposium is an educational program sponsored by the Derek Hughes/NAPSLO Educational Foundation on the surplus lines insurance market that offers sessions and networking opportunities with your peers and industry professionals.

During the Symposium students will be experiencing some great activities in downtown Chicago including the ever popular dinner boat cruise on Lake Michigan. There will a $25 nonrefundable registration fee per student that includes the dinner boat cruise along with 3 other meals. Lodging and seminars will be at the Wyndham Hotel. The room rate is $149/room (Illinois occupancy tax and Chicago city tax 15.4%) and attendees book the rooms themselves under the NAPSLO room block by calling the Wyndham at 312-573-0300.
