  • Hotel Room Block Information

    The official conference hotel is the Hilton Anatole. A special conference rate of $182/night for our industry participants has been arranged.  Please use the link below to make reservations exclusively for industry participants. If you are an industry representative or making a reservation for an industry representative from your company, please note that only King rooms may be reserved for your stay as we need the doubles for students.

    We have secured an overflow block at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Dallas Medical/Market for $169 per night. Availability changes, so if the Hilton Anatole is booked for the night/s you require, please try the Fairfield. Please note that only King rooms may be reserved for your stay.

    Deadline:  Within One Week of sponsorship form submission

    At your convenience, but within one week of sponsorship form submission, an updated high-resolution logo for use on our website and in conference print media should be sent to conference@gammaiotasigma.org.  A .pdf file is preferable.

  • Individual Attendee Registration - Company Sponsors

    All participating organizations are required complete the Individual Attendee Registration form for those individuals participating for or on behalf of your organization.  A registration form MUST be completed for each and every attendee participating in any way during the conference.  We use these lists in the creation of name tags and for catering headcounts.  All forms are due no later than Friday, August 18.

    Deadline:  Friday, August 4, 2017

    If your sponsorship includes a Quarter / Half / Full Page advertisement in the conference program, send your advertisement as a high-resolution pdf file no later than Friday, August 4, 2017 to conference@gammaiotasigma.org to be included in the program according to the below specifications.

  • Job Board Postings

    Deadline:  September 8, 2017

    Don’t forget to utilize our job posting board.  Visit careercenter.gammaiotasigma.org.  Internship postings are always free!  Thank you in advance for utilizing this valuable resource for our students.

    Most sponsorship levels come with free entry-level job postings.  If you have not received your promotion code, please contact us for it today.   

    All postings for 2017 Career Fair must be posted no later than Friday, September 8, 2017.

  • Educational Sessions

    Deadline:  July 1, 2017

    An opportunity to conduct an educational session for our students is provided to our Titanium, Platinum and Professional Association sponsors.  Educational sessions will take place on Friday, September 29.  The title, description, and presenter(s) are due no later than July 1, 2017.  Prep calls will be scheduled with the presenter during the second or third week of August.

    Session Topics: 

    The breakout sessions for the students are intended to be educational in nature, building off of their current coursework and intended to enhance their understanding of the industry. Sessions should be developed using current industry trends, hot topics and news and delivered with the novice professional in mind.  It is suggested that you choose a topic based on your company or organization's expertise.  For example, our partners at the Surety Foundation deliver a presentation on current hot topics in the surety world.  This gives your organization the opportunity not only to help educate our students on the breadth of the industry, but also gives you a chance to market your company.

    Suggested topics are available for your review and consideration and have been compiled from previous topics used at the conference and suggestions from our faculty advisors and students. All topics are subject to approval by the Grand Chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma.

    Handouts

    If you wish to distribute handout materials onsite, please feel free to do so, but know that you are responsible for printing, shipping and distribution of materials.  Presentations can be uploaded to the GIS website for access after the conference.  Presentations should be emailed to conference@gammaiotasigma.org with the subject line:  Conference Presentation.

     

    Audio / Visual:  Each breakout room will be equipped with a projector and screen.  Presenters are responsible for supplying their own laptop and are highly encouraged to use a PC instead of a MAC.

    Career Fair Booth Numbers will be assigned one month prior to the conference and will be listed in the program.

    If your sponsorship level entitles you to include a promotional item or literature in the student attendee bags, please follow the instructions below.

    Giveaway items/literature must be shipped to arrive no earlier than Friday, September 1 and no later than Wednesday, September 13, 2017.

    Please plan on sending 675 pieces.

  • Career Fair Material Handling

    Materials for the Career Fair may be shipped directly to the hotel. Please note a handling charge will apply and is payable to the FedEx office at the Anatole upon pick-up. Additional FedEx holding charges apply if items are shipped more than six days prior to pick-up.
